In 1997 Exceptional Systems Pty Ltd purchased the long established Faulkner family business of Eclipse Motors Pty Ltd which had been trading for over 50 years.

The business name was changed to Eclipse Ford and a fresh new image was to signal a new direction for the business with a great emphasis placed on developing a work environment that would attract and retain the best available employees.

Eclipse Ford “Essential Qualities” and “Core Values” became the foundation of our culture. To expedite employee development, new and innovative programs covering recruitment, induction and continual training were introduced.

We are extremely proud that our prime goal to develop a stable, highly skilled workforce of quality, motivated people has been achieved. Our people are the reason for our success and they are largely passionate about serving the needs of our customers and developing long term relationships with them.

In recent years our focus has been on developing programs that create a point of difference to ensure that the Eclipse Ford always rewards customers for supporting our business. Our highly successful Eclipse Club was recently expanded to include our unique 10 year New Car Warranty and the evolving “Total Service” program where “we advise…you choose” is designed to revolutionise your service experience.

We consider that our focus on our people and our customers guarantees that we will be here to serve Ballarat and District for a very long time to come.

In the hectic, high pressure environment of the Motor Industry we recognise the potential for misunderstandings and errors and thus, most of our key people are trained and authorised to solve customer concerns promptly.

We cannot totally guarantee our processes or workmanship on every day but we can guarantee a positive response to any concern raised. That is why we welcome and reward customer feedback.
